Want Sculpted Arms For Summer? Try The Jersey Shore Snooki Method Of Training

We don't care how you get there, but if flipping over huge tires can give you sculpted sexy arms, then....'Just do it," as the famous Nike saying is telling you.

We like to fool around with 7 lb. dumbbells to get our biceps + triceps toned. But hey-----moving around very large tires can also show results.

Just look at 'Jersey Shore' reality star Snooki. The proud mama has been on a fitness tear for months now, and all the hard work + dedication is paying off.
The 25-year-old Mama to baby Lorenzo REALLY gets buff by flippin' tires:

"How I start my Saturdays," she explained recently on her Instagram. "Buns and guns."

Snooki is  training with New Jersey-based fitness expert Anthony Michael. She  is proud of her new athletic body, as she tweeted yesterday.

"Everyone's saying the 'new fit me' isn't what I'm suppose to look [like]," she wrote. "I wasn't always a fatass, kids. Get used to my fit life, cause I love it!"

Bravo to you, Mama Snooki!!

Serena Williams Shows Off Colorful Manicure At Wimbledon's All-White Protocol

Tennis great Serena Williams CANNOT live with out an amazing mani + pedi. You might think the U.S. defending champ wouldn't even have time to think about doing her nails, but you would be so wrong!

She once admitted this:

"No one likes getting their nails done more than I do . . . I go every four days to get a manicure and every seven days for a pedicure."

And now the ace is putting on a great show of fashion sense right down to her fierce orange manicure on center court. Each tip was so stylish--diamante encrusted to animal print to  'pow!'.

The Wimbledon protocol calls for and enforces its rule of "only allowing players to wear white."
However, the Brits are bending the rules this time around, and other players are also debuting colorful manis.

Take a look at Wimbledon's usual protocol:

"Predominately in white rule introduced in 1963.  'Almost entirely in white rule' introduced in 1995.  Clothing submitted to Club for comment earlier in year.  Both Grand Slam and WTA rules stipulate recognised tennis attire.  Decision on the day as to whether clothing/players' turnout is suitable at discretion of Referee.  Guidelines:
    No solid mass of colouring
Little or no dark or bold colours
    No fluorescent colours
    Preference towards pastel colours
Preference for back of shirt to be totally white
Preference for shorts and skirts to be totally white
All other items of clothing including hats, socks and shoes to be almost entirely white
    .

Hitting The Beach: We All Need A Really Excellent Eye Cream

If you believe eye creams are only for OLDER women, like those OVER 40, think again.

Everyone needs to apply an eye cream, because that part of the face ages rapidly. The skin under the eyes, and all around the eyes for that matter, is dry, thin + delicate.

Then consider all the sun our eyes come in contact with daily, and you get the picture.

There are gazillions of eye creams out there. It's best to find one with a retinoid. This potent Vitamin-A derivative can do a few great things:

1.  Improve under eye circles, so they look lighter.

2.  Help smooth out under eye bags + firm up the skin.

3.  Diminish the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles.

We like this eye cream. No, NOT so cheap, but it comes from a very reputable skin care line:

Philosophy Miracle Worker Retinoid Eye Repair Cream ($65, at Macy's).

A retinoid formula can be tough to handle, so if eye area is sensitive, apply at night.

We like retinoid formulas because they encourage cell turnover and tighten things up. But go easy on the cream at the beginning. A little dab goes a long way.

Hot Summer Means Time For Bright Fuchsia Pedicure!

Nothing says SUMMER quite like a bright, pretty pedicure!

Maybe you've already let your adorable toes do the talking. If not, it's time to choose a colorful shade to paint those t-nails.

We just happen to LOVE fuchsia. No, those cute toes are not ours (Just thought we would clarify that).

We like Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Back to the Fuchsia ($6.98, at drugstore.com).

Pretty, huh?

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure is a great one, because it lasts + lasts, without chipping!

Here's how the company describes it:

"Don't settle for just color when you can get a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon-inspired color, top coat, chip-resistance and a gel finish all in 1 bottle. Featuring the unique precision brush for a flawless finish and patented Vita Care technology for advanced 10 day wear, more shine and nourishing care."

We think this bright, little bottle is worth the $$$.

Designer L'Wren Scott's Beauty Tip For Super Smooth Skin All Over The Body

L'Wren Scott is one busy businesswoman! And we can see why. Lots of celebrities wear her incredible designs:

Penelope Cruz. Nicole Kidman. Madonna. Sarah Jessica Parker. Oprah. And the A-list goes on + on.

Plus, the super tall, dark-haired beauty shares a lot of time with partner Mick Jagger, the legend himself, so L'Wren keeps to a sharp schedule.

L'Wren enjoys a good, lengthy soak in the bath in the late evening as she recently revealed to Harper's Bazaar magazine.

And she uses an inexpensive, cult fave to keep her whole body hydrated:

"I unwind with a long bath, some reading, and a big piece of chocolate cake.

"For the bath, I use Avon Skin So Soft Bath Oil. It's great—you put it in your bath, as much as you want, and you get out, put on your dressing robe, and you let it soak in. Your whole body feels incredible."

That's a wonderful beauty tip! And so cheap---Avon Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil ($16, 24 fl. oz.).

"Contains Jojoba Oil. Experience crisp botanicals and fresh herbals. TO USE: Fill tub, pour in desired amount, immerse yourself until shoulders are covered. For added moisture, apply directly to wet skin. 24 fl. oz. "

We will have to take another look at Avon's Skin So Soft. Sounds like a good way to keep the body soft + moisturized.

Meantime, check out L'Wren Scott's website!

Copper Shadow: Marvelous Metallic Lids For Summer

Copper lids + lots of black mascara/liner = a sexy summer makeup trend!

We've been seeing plenty of copper shadow these days at red carpet events....And we LIKE it!

Okay, wearing a metallic like copper isn't always flattering to every single woman on the planet, but we think it's worth a whirl. If it looks that badly, then don't wear it just because it's a hot summer trend.

We LOVE the bronze lid cat-eye that J. Mendel gave the models at NY Fashion Week several months ago. You definitely need to add black liner + mascara to let your eyes really stand out with copper lids.

It's crazy-glam, when applied beautifully like this:

We've found you 2 copper makeups to try:

1. NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Isolde ($34, at narscosmetics.com).

2. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Scorch ($19, at Sephora).

We think that copper shadow is a MUST-TRY this summer!

Adele's Envious Peaches+Cream Complexion Secret: The Perfect Primer

A lot of people admire British beauty Adele for her incredible vocals. Others love Adele for her big, amazing hair. And some of us envy the U.K. singer for her peaches + cream complexion.

Adele has lovely, healthy, clear skin!
Of course, like most famous folks, Adele has a super team of hair + makeup people ready to adorn her for the red carpet. And these pros ALWAYS have some excellent beauty secrets.

So, how does Adele's complexion look so flawless?!

Her makeup artist Troy Suratt says it's-- all in the perfect primer. And his choice is expensive La Mer:

La Mer The Concentrate ($290, 1 oz).

Why is this so special?

The La Mer formula works FAST to iron everything out with its reparative marine/plant ingredients. But he uses it as a step in the makeup routine.

"Apply it as a primer," Troy advises.

He often uses the luxurious skin care treatment on the British star. .
Troy massages the La Mer into Adele's skin to "eliminate puffiness around the eyes and increase circulation."

He adds that The Concentrate..."creates a smooth canvas for the foundation that allows makeup to last for hours."
