LOL....Anything Wrong With 5-Year-Old Madison Giving Makeup 101 Lessons On YouTube?!

Is the tender age of 5 too young to start playing around with makeup?

Let's go one huge step further-----Is a 5-year-old too young to be giving makeup 101 lessons on YouTube?!

Like it or not, little Madison is a YouTube sensation! And if you haven't seen her telling you how to apply blush and eye shadow, and so much more, then check this out here. In fact, we caught her again, being featured on 'Good Morning America.'

Madison is a pint-sized cutie pie who is very comfortable in front of the camera, playing with makeup. Period. It's harmless and fun.

But there are some out there who have cried, 'foul!' They say we are sexualizing our little girls.

Well, in this case, we don't happen to think so. We think it's okay to explore Mommy's makeup bag, and try on a swipe of lipstick or powder your nose.

Madison's mom loves watching YouTube makeup tutorials, and it's obvious, that her young daughter has become fond of cosmetics and communication via YouTube.

Madison is an internet sensation, and we can see why. She is adorable, engaging, intelligent, and a happy child, who just happens to love playing with her Mom's makeup.

What do you think?

Kim Kardashian Looks To Hepburn Hollywood Glamour For Wedding Style

With bride-to-be Kim Kardashian showing off a 20.5 karat diamond engagement ring, there is no doubt that her wedding will also be a grand one! And the late, iconic Audrey Hepburn could somehow be involved. Hmmm....more on that in a bit.

We caught the sexy reality star chatting with Ryan Seacrest live on the E! channel last evening.

And we noticed right away, that the raven-haired beauty had several inches chopped from her super long locks. She looks even hotter, if that's possible.

Why did she go shorter?

"I just wanted a change!" Kim told Us Weekly earlier that day. "I always wear my hair the same, and wanted something fresh!" Take a look at her new, layered do from Kim K's website.

Kim Kardashian recently got engaged to her boyfriend of six months, basketballer Kris Humphries. She has been busy promoting the newest season of her family's E! reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. And the 'kute' couple are slated to marry later this summer.

Kim has been very busy trying to hunt down the perfect wedding dress, no easy task for any bride-to-be But the reality star beauty did give away a couple of big hints to Ryan Seacrest:

1. Old Hollywood Glamour. That's the look Kim is eyeing. Nothing overtly sexy. Tradition and sophistication.

2. Audrey Hepburn wedding dress. Possibly. Kim has been looking through the beauty archives for memorable gowns, and revealed that she loved the tea length wedding dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in the 1957 movie, 'Funny Face.'. Take a look at our top photo. Very demure and frou-frou.

And although Kim Kardashian is petite like the late Audrey Hepburn, their body shapes couldn't be more different. Audrey was far from curvy, and was uber-skinny, whereas Kim is very voluptuous.

But if anyone can carry off a beautiful garment, it's certainly Kim K., so we will be very interested to see just what kind of wedding gown the sexy celebrity walks down the aislein. Somehow, we envision Kim in a very white, mermaid style gown.

Stay tuned, fans!

Are You A Cuticle Cutie? How Does Your Mani/Pedi Look?

Cuticle cutie?

No, not yet. In fact, we are usually in hang nail h-ll. We get hang nails at our thumbs, and we are always trying to tear the skin ourselves, and we end up making it a lot worse.

A hang nail is "a small, torn piece of skin near a fingernail or toenail." And that would point to the cuticle.

But our cuticles are improving. That's because we are now conditioning them. In the past, we never bothered applying oil or cream treatments for the cuticles, but at the moment, we are hooked.
Yes, these cuticle conditioners DO work. But you need patience and a little TLC. And since we are mani/pedi-challenged, we are learning quite a few things about healthy nails.

Tennis Star Serena Williams is nail-obsessed, and we can bet her cuticles are perfect:

...."No one likes getting their nails done more than I do," she says. "As a matter of fact I go every four days to get a manicure and every seven days for a pedicure. So, I had a brilliant idea to get certified to be a nail tech."

You don't have to be manicure-crazy to achieve healthy nails, but you DO have to have healthy cuticles to make it all work. And we have 2 cult cuticle conditioning favorites that deliver results:

1. Solar Oil Conditioner by Creative Nail Design ($7.59, at drugstore.com). Made with Vitamin E, sweet almond and jojoba oils. Solar Oil is able to penetrate deeply to soften dry cuticles and promote the growth of strong, flexible nails.

Simply brush on this oil daily. We like to do this at bedtime to let the

oil dry completely, and work through sleeping hours.

2. Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme by Burt's Bees ($5.99, at drugstore.com. This stuff is amazing, too, in a cream base. It, too, includes sweet almond oil, Vitamin E. Toss in some lemon oil and cocoa butter, and your nails will be in heaven.

Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme is easy to apply, too. Just massage in and around nails nightly to heal dry cuticles and cracked fingertips.

With hot, summer days fast approaching, it's a good time to get your nails in shape, and that means a set of healthy cuticles, from your fingertips down to your toenails.

We promise to continue this simple, nightly nail routine, and if you have almost given up on your unattractive cuticles, give one of these conditioning nail treatments a try.

How To Fake A Fabulous Safe Tan With Bronzer

This Tuesday, June 21, marks the first day of summer. And for many of you, the beginning of your tanning routine.

We are not here to judge. We don't want to scold anyone for heading to the beach for a little rest and relaxation. BUT------

There really is NO safe tan, except in the form of sunless tanning. And that means bronzer for your face, and tanning spray for your body. And yes, you CAN fake a fabulous tan with bronzer.

Your face can glow and look like you spent a day lying by the sand and sea. All you have to do is pick the right bronzer and delicately apply it, so it results in a natural, sun-kissed way.

Choose a bronzerthat is one or two shades darker than your skin. If you have an oily complexion, then stay with a powder bronzer. Dry complexions would be wise to select a cream bronzer. And remember: Don't go bronzer-wild all over your face.

Try Maybelline's DreamMousse Bronzer ($7.29, at drugstores)> It's so light and glides on beautifully!

Celebrity makeup artist Scott Barnes, a fave of Jennifer Lopez, is the king of bronzer. Here are his tips, the best we've seen on applying a fake tan for the face:

"Make sure that you don’t use a bronzer like you would be using a loose powder. You shouldn’t be applying bronzer all over your face. You should actually use bronzer on parts of your face that the sun would kiss naturally and you should make sure that the centre of your face is lighter than the outer parts of your face.".

Use bronzer sparingly, says Scott:

"In general, I try to abide by a less-is-more mentality: You can always layer more on but it’s harder to take it off. It’s really all in the approach, though. I always see women applying powders and bronzers starting next to their nose. But the trick is to work from the outside of the face inward, rather than the other way around. This creates a halo effect and leaves a diamond shape of light in the center so your face appears a little more open. This will hide double chins and give you a visible bone structure so you don’t wind up looking old. Also, use a bronzing brush to blend allover rather than applying product directly to problem areas like crow’s feet and laugh lines. And don’t forget to do your neck and décolletage."

Great tips! And Scott Barnes sells his own popular makeup line of bronzers for face and body.

'Face' It: Palmer's Isn't Just For Stretch Marks Anymore

Okay, we'll be honest.....we adore cocoa butter. And when it comes to the king of the heavenly-smelling body butters, well, Palmer's has stood the test of time. And for many a pregnant woman, it's Palmer's to the stretch mark rescue.

But, now there's a new Palmer's in town:
Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Facial Care Line. And the great news----everything is $15 or less at drugstores!

Smart folks at Palmer's, and it's about time. Who doesn't love an anti-aging cleanser, night cream, facial scrub, eye cream, and day lotion?! Who knew crushed cocoa beans make for an excellent exfoliating scrub?

The Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Night Renewal Cream ($15), on its own, feels so good. And it's formulated with cocoa and shea butters, retinol peptides, and evening primrose to firm and tighten skin.

If you are a cocoa butter fan, it's time to look beyond your beautiful belly, and to your face and neck. This new Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Facial Care Line is kind to sensitive skin, and won't put a dent in your pocketbook.

We think this a worthy skin care line to try.

How To Get Huma Abedin's Classy Sophisticated Style

Not a shiny, raven strand of hair out of place. Not a hint of puffy, red eyes from crying.

Instead, we see the striking Huma Abedin, the wife of fallen Congressman Anthony Weiner in control, doing her job as trusted aide to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

And she's going about her business with her flair for fashion and polished makeup palette of a defined eye, perfect brow, and bold red lip. That's her signature beauty look.

Of course, the exotic Pakistani/Indian Huma always has a gorgeous big designer handbag with her, too. Plus some very nice accessories---over-sized sunglasses, ornate chandeliers and/or pearls. And her hair is long andglossy, usually worn straight and parted-in-the-middle, or pulled back away from her face in a sleek ponytail or elegant updo.

Huma Abedin married Anthony Weiner a year ago. The model-slender 35-year-old wore a stunning Oscar de la Renta wedding gown, from one of her favorite designers.

These days, the very private Huma has been forced into the spotlight. But she hasn't said a word yet, about her Congressman husband's sexting scandal, and most people don't believe she will make any public comment. The couple had recently announced that Huma was pregnant.

We will be watching this quiet woman, and how she continues to handle her husband's recent resignation from Congress. We also look forward to seeing how stylish Huma chooses her maternity wear.

You Don't Use An Eyelash Curler? It Goes Hand In Hand With Mascara

A lot of women wear mascara, every day. And we are assuming that those who adorn their lashes, also use an eyelash curler, right?

Not so fast.

We were shocked when we saw the results of a recent survey in InStyle magazine that asked this question:

DO YOU USE AN EYELASH CURLER?

37% Never
36% Always
27% On special occasions

Doesn't this surprise anyone? Wouldn't you have expected the stats to be, maybe, 80% who always curl?!

Does that also mean, that the 36% who always use an eyelash curler, also always wear mascara? Or do the two beauty items have little to do with each other?

Wouldn't it make sense to you, that if you were going to wear mascara, that you would curl your lashes first?

Ladies, you NEED to curl your lashes. Period.

What does an eyelash curler do? Any professional makeup artist will tell you, that curling your lashes opens up the eyes. Your eyes will look bigger. Stubborn lashes will look more even. And short, wimpy lashes will take on thickness and appear longer.

There are many eyelash curlers out there. Plastic, metal, mini curlers, heated curlers, etc. You might have to buy several before you hit the perfect eyelash curler. Plastic ones break much quicker and easier than the metal pairs, with their scissor-like motion. Heated curlers cost more.

And if you've never used an eyelash curler, don't be afraid. It's not hard. This beauty tool is an odd-looking item, but it does great things for your lashes and really widens your eyes. In fact, if you hate wearing mascara, and absolutely refuse to, at least curl your lashes. You will see the difference. You will even look more awake.

What you want to do, is position the eyelash curler around your eyelashes. The upper lashes must be between the edges of the curler.

Then, carefully squeeze the edges of the eyelash curler together and hold for about 10 seconds.

Now gently release the curler from the lashes. Repeat again if you want extra curly lashes, or if you have stubborn straight lashes. Always make sure that the curler is fully open before removing it.

Then apply a few coats of mascara.

Here's a great eyelash curler to try:
Shu Uemura ($19.00, here). A big favorite among pros and women everywhere. Delivers the perfect curl. Metal curler.

Can Blueberry Supplement From CVS Really Improve Eyesight?

We just happened to stumble upon this one, and since good health is a thing of beauty, we thought we'd do some research.

Blueberries and better eyesight.

Do the two go hand-in-hand?

Possibly so.

A popular supplement from Sweden called, Blue Berry Eyebright ($29.95, 60 tablets), claims that just 2 tablets a day, "Helps protect and stregthen the vision. Helps increase macular pigmentation in the eyes."

The daily dosage of 2 tablets can be compared to eating a cup of fresh blueberries a day. Also included in the supplements is calendula flower extract, containing lutein and grapeseeds extracts.

Blue Berry Eyebright has been around Scandanavia for almost 10 years, and now it's being introduced to the US, exclusively at CVS drugstores.

We're not saying you'll be able to toss away your glasses or contacts anytime soon, but within 2-3 months, you will see changes, and your eyesight will strengthen.

The supplements are safe, and according to what we have learned, Blue Berry Eyebright does NOT interfere with medicine and poses no side effects. But please check with your doctor and let him or her know what you are planning to add to your vitamin regimen.

We think this is pretty exciting health news for your eyes!

StriVectin Launches New Anti-Aging Sunscreen With Niacin

StriVectin's newest skin care product has us intrigued. Not only is it a powerful sunscreen, but it also boasts about being a strong anti-aging treatment.

And guess what.....StriVectin S-H Age Protect SPF 30 is also recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation.

So, we would like to assume, that the clever folks at StriVectin have developed an excellent way to "practice safe sun", if you would.

The magic ingredient in this sunscreen is the NIA-114 molecule. And according to what we learned, this form of niacin was actually discovered by skin cancer researchers, Drs. Myron and Elaine Jacobson, The couple found that NIA-114 is able to re-build skin layers and strengthen the skin barrier to further protect against sun damage.

This is a daily sunscreen that you can use all year long, 365 days. And the formula is said to be ultra light and ultra sheer. Nothing heavy or greasy.

How to use: Apply a dime size amount in the morning on cleansed face and neck over StriVectin-SD or a daily moisturizer. Reapply as needed or after towel drying, swimming or perspiring. Instantly absorbs into skin with a soft, matte finish.

Sandal Time Means Soft Smooth Callus-Free Feet

Hey, before you slip into those amazing new sandals, you better check your feet.

Are you sandal-ready, ladies?

If your heels are cracked and callused, then you have no business showing off your feet, no matter how sexy those sandals are.

We have a simple 2-step nightly routine for soft, smooth callus-free feet:

1. Exfoliate.
You need a powerful, yet gentle buffer, and we've found one in Diamancel Diamond Foot Buffer #11 ($49, at sephora). The price tag might seem a bit steep for a foot file, but trust us, this baby really does the job. Watch the dead skin fly away and bring back super smooth soles, The magic is in the buffer's unique, geometric diamond pattern surface.

2. Moisturize.

After exfoliating rub in a thick foot treatment like NeoStrata Foot Gel Plus ($19.50, at neostrata). This one is like "a pedicure in a jar.". The formula features a 15% AHA, Glycolic Acid Moisturizer base . It not only dissolves the rough spots, but provides a nourishing, soothing layer for your feet.

In the morning, wake up to a super smooth set of soles.

How To Get Sexy Celebrity Wavy Beach Hair

Golden girl Jennifer Aniston has always been the cover girl for Best Wavy Beach Hair. Then, a couple of months ago, she went and chopped off her signature look for a sleek, shoulder-length bob.

In our humble opinion....boring, Jennifer. We can see her anxiously trying to grow it out now.

Hair that looks tousled and free, like you've just spent a day at the beach, is a style that everyone seems to like. And with the right hair productsand styling tools, you, too, can create sexy, celebrity beach hair for summer!

Blake Lively, Vanessa Hudgens, Julia Roberts, and Kate Hudson, are just a few of the famous heads who look like they're fans of the sun and surf club.

There are a few ways to achieve this sexy, boho beach hair:

1. Have a professional stylist tend to your locks.

2. Or.......Do it yourself. At bedtime, spritz on a good volumizer and then braid hair into 4 big sections. Remember--the smaller the braid, the tighter the wave, so if you want a ton of wild waves, then make more braids. In the morning, take out the braids for beach hair that has staying power.

3. You can also pick up a bottle of product designed to give you wavy, beach hair. Try new Alterna Summer Hair Ocean Waves Texturizing Spray ($20, at Sephora. "This spray provides weightless volume, moisture lock, and a natural wavy texture to all hair types for that sexy, back-from-the-beach look."

Spray on damp or dry hair from roots to ends and shape with fingers for a loose, tousled look. You can also use a diffuser to create waves or a big-barreled curling iron to lock in that tousled beach hair.

It's a playful, sexy hairstyle even if you're not really running around at the beach all day.

And Jessica Simpson isn't alone. A number of celebrities have been snapped out and about, wearing the hot trend for summer, ladies like---Nicole Richie, all 3 Kardashian sisters, Blake Lively, etc.

Here's the look:

1. Cute romper.

Hollywood Faces Looking Volumized---Is It The Radiesse Filler?

We are always talking about hair volumizers. But what about volumizers for the face, like a filler called Radiesse?
These days, just about every Hollywood beauty is walking the red carpet with much fuller cheeks, temples, a sculpted chin, and barely a wrinkle in sight. Sure, famous faces go in for facelifts, but times have changed. Nowadays, the injectable is taking over---instant volume in mere minutes! And no, we cannot prove that the famous faces pictured here, have been anywhere near a syringe of filler. We can only speculate.

The filler that can restore your youthful glow and fullness is a syringe of Radiesse, a hyaluronic substance that lasts for up to 2 years.

Radiesse has staying power and many women are paying up to $1,000 for a syringe of this thick, putty-like volumizer. In addition, the filler stimulates collagen production, essential for younger-looking skin.

Of course, the challenge is trying to strike the perfect balance of fullness to a natural-looking face. Over-filling, and getting chipmunk cheeks can happen, and sometimes, Hollywood goes a bit far in this department. NYC plastic surgeon Alan Matarasso told More magazine, that the key here is to create something subtle.

"The whole key is doing subtle, incremental things that keep up with the aging process, rather than going out for a home-run."

Well-said, Dr. Matarasso.

New Nair Cool Gel Hair Remover: This Ain't Your Mama's Stinky Depilatory

As the temperatures rise, more skin is bared. And that means, more hair to remove.

Let's be honest, shaving is the quickest and cheapest method for removing unwanted hair. And then there's waxing, a much more expensive way to melt away growth and keep you stubble-free for longer.

Then there's the depilatory. Apply, wait for 5-10 minutes and rinse away. Maybe you watched your mom use Nair or Neet back in the day. More likely, maybe you 'smelled' these depilatories and came rushing into the bathroom to see what the offensive, strong odor was all about.

Sure, Nair, Neet, and all the others, have always had a foul odor, but when the depilatory worked, your legs and underarms felt like silk---so smooth to the touch.

Now, Nair has come out with Cool Gel Hair Remover (7.5 oz. $6.99, at drugstores). The scent is supposed to be a fresh, clean scent, well, you decide. We like the idea of a gel, because it glides on easily, and does feel cool to the touch. And this new Nair is supposed to remove all the hair you don't want, in a matter of minutes.

The good news----it's wonderful to see a product with a hydrating, cooling texture for those hot spring/summer days ahead.

This Nair is a must try.

Feet Need TLC In Those Warmer Days Ahead: Limit Flip-Flop Wear

Warmer days ahead, mean time to bare your feet, ladies! And for many of us, that means slipping into a pair of faithful flip-flops.

You've heard the arguments before, that flip-flops or thong-style flat sandals, are NOT the best summer footwear. The American Podiatric Medical Association, along with plenty of studies out there, caution that flip-flop wearing time should be limited.

When you're walking in a pair, your gait changes in a way that affects your feet, ankles, and legs. And believe it or not, these go-to-casual sandals can cause substantial pain.

If you cannot give up wearing flip-flops, at least slip into a pair that have good arch support and cushioning. As the experts say......"If your flip-flops can fold in half, then they are NOT sturdy enough."

And while we're discussing feet, remember this part of your body also needs sunscreen. How many of you are guilty of applying the SPF everywhere BUT your feet and ankles? You are not alone.

Melanoma can attack any unprotected parts of your body, so please don't skimp on the sunscreen there.

And the foot experts also suggest keeping your precious feet dry. Wash them every day with soap and water, and do clean between the toes. And also, rub a little deodorant on your soles to keep feet sweat-free and smelling fresh.

Overprocessed Hair? Try Redken Anti-Snap To Tame Dry Brittle Locks

It's becoming that time of year again........summer. Out with the old hair color, and in with the new!

Maybe you want to give your tired, blonde locks a major peroxide boost, just like Jennifer Aniston did about a month ago. Or maybe you want to try being a chocolate brown-haired beauty. Whatever the case, every time you mess with hair color chemicals, you're going to pay for it in the end. And that means damage of all sorts.

Of course, that doesn't stop any of us from also, straightening, perming, double-processing, blow-drying, flat-ironing, curling, etc. We all love our hair to look just right. But when the dry, brittle locks appear, then it's hair S.O.S.!!

We found a cult fave by the good folks at Redken. It's called, Extreme Anti-Snap Treatment, and we found it for $18.50 at Target.

No, it isn't cheap, but you are getting a bottle of 8.5 oz. We like this, because it's a leave-in conditioner. And it performs beautifully:

Improves hair strength.
Smoothes the cuticle surface.
Reduces clash from brushing & prevents further damage.
Leaves hair healthy, bright & flexible.

Why is Redken's Anti-Snap Treatment worth the price? Because it's formula is so good. "A protein rich formula that fortifies the damaged area of hair and helps reduce breakage. Contains ceramides and fruit acids for added strength and shine."

Have You Noticed All The Celebrity Un-Natural Redheads This Spring?

Are you a real redhead?

Chances are, you are probably NOT.

We did a little research and found, that only about 2% of the population are natural redheads.

Wow. We didn't think the percentage were that tiny. But what we will say, is that there's nothing tiny about having a glorious head of red hair. It's such a 'notice me' hue, and when a redhead enters a room, all eyes follow.

Maybe that's why gorgeous celebrities are turning red-headed these days. Of course, Rihanna has been absolutely delighted getting a lot of attention for her Raggedy-Ann red locks. And the sexy singerknows how to her rock a cherry red do like no one else. And it doesn't appear that she wants to switch hair shades anytime soon.

Then we have movie stars like Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson, and Emma Stone dipping their hair into a bottle of red color recently. And so, too, have Blake Lively and Hayley Williams, gone over to the fiery shades of auburn and copper.

It's easy becoming a redhead, but staying that way, is the ultimate hair test. It's not easy being red.

Celebrity master colorist, Kim Vo, probably said it best, about maintaining that fiery mane of bottled hair color:

"The biggest challenge are reds. The red color molecule is the smallest of all colors. It's like a tropical rainstorm. It's tempest and dramatic at first and then quickly fades."

We can give you a bit more red hair beauty advice----If you wish to keep those red lockslooking new, then do NOT use hair products with sulfates, which can strip pigment.

Meantime, enjoy your redness and all the attention that goes with it.

Foundation Too Heavy For Spring/Summer Days: Switch Over To Tinted Moisturizer

Foundation. It's a very important step in your beauty/makeup routine. But there comes a time, when the unbearing heat and humidity makes your skin feel uncomfortable with the extra layer of coverage on top of it.

What's the solution?

You know you SHOULD be wearing some type of foundation daily, be it in powder, liquid, or cream form. This layer provides protection from the elements, balances skin tone, and creates a base for blush, shadows, and more.

But when the temperature is soaring to 93 degrees and your face feels hot and damp, foundation can 'melt away,' or just look un-fresh, and heavy. That's why a lot of women switch over to tinted moisturizers during spring and summer days.

And we've found a super one for you to try: Philosophy Hope in a Tinted Moisturizer ($38, at philosophy.com).

Here are Hope's plusses:

1. Provides 20SPF.

2. Lightweight texture.

3. Sheer coverage.

4. Dries to a matte finish.

5. Available in 8 shades.

6. Full of protective anti-oxidants.

7. Airless pump for the perfect dose.

Try a tinted moisturizer, add a little concealer, and a bit of powder during the day, and you're good to go.
