Demi Quits Maple Syrup Diet For 21 Day Clean Detox To Drop Pounds

At 47, Demi Moore is in superb shape. But apparently, she still wants to drop some pounds, so the actress is tweeting about her latest diet dilemma.

Demi claims that she only lasted 4 days on the popular maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and lemon (yuck) diet drink, known as the 10-day Master Cleanse.

We don't blame Demi Moore. We would not have lasted, either.

If you look at the photo, you can see that Demi doesn't need to lose any major poundage. Here she is on the May 2010 cover of Elle Magazine(United Kingdom). She appears as youthful and slender as ever.

At the moment, according to Demi's tweets on Twitter, the actress is on a new cleanse-detox diet. And this one lets you eat real food. It's called the 21 Day Clean Program:

'2day’s day 13 4me on The Clean Program!' Demi tweeted
on Tuesday.

Gwyneth Paltrow is a big fan of cleanse-detox diets, having blogged about going on a few to drop pounds and restore her digestive system.

The Clean Program was developed by a cardiologist, Dr. Alejandro Junger. And the dietary program looks sensible to us----consisting of a shake for breakfast and dinner, and a lunch that combines one vegetable, one grain and one protein.

If you would like to diet like Demi, and get 'your clean on,' it's available for $350. According to the Clean Program website, it's a 3-week diet-detox.

"The Clean Program is a 21 day detox program that is specifically designed for the person on the move. Unlike traditional cleanses, you need not stay at home while you detox on the Clean Program. This cleanse is designed for those who want to live their life and still get Clean."
.
