EOS Launches The Nearly Naked 'Crystal' Wax-Free Lip Balm

When it comes to lip balm, these typically offer a wax base as a protective barrier.

But popular EOS brand is debuting a brand new lip balm that is modern, slippery + see-through. And yes, it still comes in its adorable little pod, except this time, the pod is more oval than round.

EOS Crystal is a lip balm that provides weightless hydration in a wax-free formula. And for $5, this is a great beauty buy.

EOS is rolling out 2 flavors---Peach Hibiscus + Vanilla Orchid. The brand has been teasing the new launch at their Instagram.

The see-through lip balm is infused with 5 natural oils----sunflower, coconut, aloe, castor and avocado. There is NO SPF in Crystal, but EOS fans can still find the protection with their Active collection.

Check out stores like Walgreens, ULTA, CVS and Walmart to find them.

Khloe Kardashian Claims Mama Mio Pregnancy Boob Cream Gives Her Firm, Radiant Decollete

Okay, Khloe Kardashian. We are well aware how you and the other K + J sisters cleverly drop brand names to get us to buy certain products.

And we think we're on to you, too. Although, maybe this REALLY is one of your favorite beauty tips.

So let's take a look further. Khloe recently spoke with IntotheGloss.com about her beauty routine. And she listed a bunch of makeup + skin care faves.

We have noticed how she loves showing off her bosom these days. And there's one product she is so into, a cream that nursing mom/sister Kourtney told her about:

Mama Mio Pregnancy Boob Tube, 3.4 Fluid Ounce ($41.26 + free shipping, at Amazon).

And apparently, it's SAFE for non-nursing women out there.

Khloe said this to IntotheGloss:

"Kourtney got me into all these Mama Mio products that are all natural—I think she used them when she was breast-feeding. Their names are really cute—there is one that’s called the Shrink to Fit Cellulite Smoother that I like. I use one of their other products called the Pregnancy Boob Tube every day. It’s got avocado oil and shea butter so when your boobs are growing you don’t get stretch marks. I like it though, because it tightens your neck, too. I’ve been using it everyday for a year. Now people always ask me, ‘Why do you have this?’ hinting as if I’m trying to have a baby, and I’m like, ‘No, no. It’s just because I f***in’ like it’."
There you have it.

We think Mama Mio Pregnancy Boob Tube cream is worth a shot for a smooth, youthful neck and breasts.

Cold, Dry Air Means Time For Eye Cream With Soothing Calendula

Let's be honest. When summertime hits, we all enjoy spending time outdoors. That means extreme heat, sun + damage to our skin, hair, and eyes.

And now that we have just entered autumn, it is essential we try and repair the havoc wreaked upon our faces + bodies.
.
Today, let's talk about our eyes. As we've been screaming on our beauty blog here for a few years now, the skin around the eyes is very delicate to begin with. This orbital region is also thin-skinned with tissue that contains few oil glands. That is why the eye area lacks natural moisture like other parts of the body.

As we get older, collagen breaks down, and thins out the skin around the eyes even more.

So that is really why putting on an eye cream every day + night will help fight fine lines + wrinkles, sagging + puffiness + dark circles.

There are tons of eye creams out there. So it can be quite daunting to pick the right formula. But why not try an organic eye cream containing CALENDULA.

This is a pretty, orange-petaled flower that is often used as a medicinal herb. When formulated into an eye cream, the properties of calendula do wonderful things, like soothe, moisturize and reduce under-eye puffiness.

We found a jar of eye cream containing calendula:

Indie Lee Calednula Eye Balm ($42).

Calendula Eye Balm contains these super natural ingredients:
Calendula Officinalis Flower (calendula) Oil, Beeswax, Magnifera Indica (mango) Seed Butter, Lavandula Angustifolia (lavender) Oil, Squalane (olive derived), Persea gratissima (avocado) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E).
.
Learn how to apply it here on YouTube.

Rippa Is Ripped: Kelly's Breakfast Secret Contains Avocado

We all know and love Kelly Rippa from "Live with Kelly and Michael."

And there's no secret here: Rippa is ripped!!

You won't find an ounce of fat anywhere on Kelly's body. Possibly in her little, belly button, but that's about it. The woman is ultra-light but quite muscular for her tiny size.

The daytime star is a work-out freak and disciplined dieter. You will either LOVE Kelly Rippa's physique or hate it.

And it hasn't been easy for Kelly to ignore the constant, cruel tabloid headlines and comments about her such as, anorexic, eating disorder, boy's body, and so forth.

We don't know Kelly Rippa, but we do see a fit body.

Is she scary skinny, like a lot of folks say?

Well, we think she is down too fine, especially after having seen the actress spend a number of years on the former soap, "All my Children." There she was much heavier if we can use that term, and she looked equally gorgeous.

Today on "Live with Kelly and Michael,", the topic of breakfast came up. Kelly admitted that she doesn't indulge until AFTER the show, which ends at 10 AM.

She used to have this for breakfast:

Greek yogurt with blueberries + pistachios mixed in.

This morning, Kelly Rippa introduced her new fave breakfast:

mashed avocado on an English muffin with red pepper flakes.

Kelly was raving about how nutritious the avocado is, and she is right.

The avocado is such an amazing food on all fronts.  Even babies can enjoy it as one of their first fruits.  The avocado is heart-healthy full of good fats that can lower bad cholesterol.  The soft inner fruit is packed with almost 20 vitamins and minerals, and one serving boasts a mere 50 calories. Plus this little, dynamo with the thick, pebbly skin is cholesterol-free and sodium-free.

We love avocado and we think this is a filling, little breakfast!
Thanks, Kelly!

Karlie Kloss "Kute" As Ever Thanks In Part To Mostly Vegetarian Lifestyle

Model Karlie Kloss seems to break the mold wherever she goes.

The wholesome, girl-next-door was one of the first Victoria's Secret angels with short hair.

Karlie wasn't first thought of as sexy, but the super tall model has changed all that.

She's one of the BEST VS models at the moment. And she does it all with style, elegance + grace.

Here's Karlie on the red carpet last evening in lovely red lace at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscar party in Beverly Hills. And there's her much admired signature bob-like hairstyle, the one that Taylor Swiftseems to have copied strand for strand.
According to the March 2014 issue of Vogue, the 6 ft. stunner eats mostly vegetarian and stocks her kitchen with quinoa flour

This model knows her way around the oven, and she LOVES to bake.

We all know about her own line of yummies---Karlie's Kookies

Here's a recipe for KARLIE'S VEGAN CHOCOLATE MOUSSE(Vogue 3/2014). And it looks delish + healthy:

Serves 1-2.
1 large ripe avocado
1/4 cup raw cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond milk
2 tsp. agave
 1 tsp. natural vanilla extract
Puree the avocado until smooth.

Mix the cocoa powder + almond milk together until combined and then add to the avocado.
Stir in the agave, vanilla extract and any of your fave toppings. (Karlie likes sliced + toasted almonds; chia seeds, frozen raspberries, blueberries, or blackberries; and cocoa nibs.)

Bev Hills Housewife Joyce Giraud Uses This Fruit Mask For Healthy Hair

Joyce Giraud. She's the gorgeous, raven-haired beauty new to the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" reality TV show this season.

The former beauty queen from Puerto Rico seems to be blessed with the longest, most healthy locks we've seen in a long time. Joyce's hair is even longer than Kyle Richards' mane.

There's Joyce fresh from shopping for baubles at Tiffany's in New York City yesterday.

So, is the pageant winner wearing hair extensions or is this stunning 38-year-old just lucky to have healthy roots + all?

Not many women like admitting to using hair extensions, so we will leave it there, but the newest Bev Hills housewife DID spill her beauty tips for having long, lustrous locks.

Here's what she told toofab.com a few months ago:

"My one main secret I did right after my pageants days, is I only wash my hair once a week," she dished. "I tell everyone you have to stop washing your hair so much!"

Joyce also swears by putting on an avocado mask to keep her hair looking camera ready

The avocado is REALLY considered a fruit. And when we're not all enjoying guacamole, the soft, green fruit is a very nourishing beauty product for hair + skin.

Here is a classic avocado hair mask that a lot of women put on in the shower:
DEEP CONDITIONING AVOCADO HAIR MASK
This deep conditioning hair mask uses the nourishing goodness from the avocado to repair the damage that chemicals and styling aids do to hair. Combine egg yolk , olive oil and honey to tame your dry, split ends. Bouncy, soft hair returns.

Whisk one egg yolk, 1 tsp. of honey and 1 tsp. of extra-virgin olive oil together in a small bowl. Mash in ½ of an avocado with a fork.

This can get messy, so apply this to dry hair on ends first and then all over hair. Roll into a bun. After 15 minutes, rinse out in shower. Shampoo and then rinse again.

Really, Mama Kim K? WasThis Self-Serving Selfie Really Necessary?!

Alright. We are all for the beautiful, post-baby body, but did we REALLY need to see this, Kim K?!

Haven't we all had ENOUGH of these ridiculous selfies?

How much self-promotion + ego-massaging does one need?

Why are we picking on glamorous Kim Kardashian?

It appears that she is allegedly sensitive to the tabloid headlines that claim the new mother of baby North is STILL overweight with a large number of post-baby pounds to go.

Well,  the famous reality star is fighting back to prove otherwise, and exposing her side-boob and very ample butt to the world.

You are a mother, now, Kim K. Have a little respect.

Cindy Crawford is a stunning mother-of-2, and does not parade herself around in extremely revealing show-off selfies, and believe us, Cindy still has the gorgeous, supermodel body to do so.

Is this possibly an ad for the famous Atkins diet plan?

Kim claims that is how she has been shedding the post-baby pounds:

'I've actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it,' she revealed recently. 'She is eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies and cheese,' a rep for Atkins says.

We are happy the reality star is praising the 2,000 calories per day Atkins diet, because the plan has helped many people drop weight all these years.

But did Kim K need to strip down to that tacky degree?

We're not so sure.

What do you think?

To learn more about Kim K's Atkins plan and what kinds of meals she was enjoying to drop the post-baby pounds, check out this item in the LATimes.com.

American Idol Returns Tonight: All Eyes On Jennifer Lopez

If you tune into American Idol this evening, you WILL be watching the prettiest judge---Jennifer Lopez.

The sexy singer demands attention, but then again, Jennifer has quite an amazing presence. And with all that's gone on in her busy life for the past few months, well, most will be curious to see how the mom-of-twins looks, what she's wearing, and what she'll be saying.

The style icon will probably mix in a few pieces from her Jennifer Lopez clothing line from Kohl's. And she will also be featuring the hottest new makeup/hair looks from Revlon, to which she is a spokesperson for.

At age 42, women want to know how the Latin beauty looks so youthful. We've found out a few J.Lo beauty tips:

1. Stay out of the sun! Or if you hit the beach, do so in moderation. Jennifer has learned to fake a fab tan from her makeup artist Scott Barnes.

"Stay out of the sun! He (Scott) really nailed into my head. Bronzer and self-tanners are so worth it. Stay out of the booth, girls! And boys!" Jennifer has said previously.

2. Treat your complexion to a great moisturizer. You have to protect and nourish the skin, and one of the TV star's fave beauty go-to products is this one---Dr Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream, ($42.95, at soap.com). Formulated with rose petals and avocado, this organic cream helps the skin balance its moisture level.

3. Putting on a mask is a good thing. Jennifer is known to be a fond user of this unique age-defyer----placenta collagen masks from Plazan Skin Care Products ($64, at plazancosmetics.com).

Apply the mask onto your face and relax for about 20 minutes. Then remove.

Maybe J.Lo is on to something, because this instant beautifier helps to "reduce wrinkles, relaxes tense and 'fatigued' skin, moisturizes and nourishes skin with low-molecular components and improves complexion."

We're not sure that placenta protein alone, does the trick, but whatever Jenny-from-the-block is doing, she looks incredible, and her fans will be watching closely tonight.

Perricone Says Avocado Makes You Sexy And More Good Foods To Keep You Young

Avocados make you sexy?!

Let's put it this way.......if you believe anti-aging expert Dr. Nicholas Perricone, then you would come to learn that this fleshy, yummy green fruit full of healthy fats, can actually increase libido. Hmmm. We eat one avocado a week. Need we say more?
Dr. Perricone has a new book out--Forever Young:The Science of Nutrigenomics for Glowing, Wrinkle-Free Skin and Radiant Health at Every Age.

Why should we trust him?

Well, he is a best-selling NY Times author. Remember that one? The Wrinkle Cure. Even we have a copy.

And Dr. Nicholas Perricone brings science to the art of beauty. At least, this dermatologist tries really hard to find, through tons of clinical and laboratory research, ways to keep women looking young and healthy, hopefully, forever.

Hence...his newest book, Forever Young. The doctor made an appearance on Good Morning America today, revealing foods that keep you looking and feeling young. And the humble avocado is just one of his picks.

Here are more:
1. Cinnamon. Just an 1/8 of a teaspoon daily, can reap major benefits. Dr. Perricone says that this tasty spice regulates blood sugar, which helps keep skin wrinkle-free. Cinnamon also has strong properties that prevent dangerous melanoma(skin cancer).
2. Watercress. This leafy green veggie is packed with minerals and diuretic properties to help remove toxins from the body. It's believed to prevent against cancer as well as target eye and skin health. Dr. Perricone mentioned on GMA that watercress clears up acne, too.
3. Salmon and other cold water fish. The orange-colored oily fish is full of good protein, which the body needs to maintain and repair itself as we age. Salmon also features omega-3 essential fatty acids and antioxidants that battle inflammation, keep skin looking young.
4. Chia seeds. The nutty, little snack is also packed with omega-3 fatty acids, to keep skin, heart and brain healthy. Chia seeds are also an excellent source for vitamin E and calcium.
5. Coconut oil. This is not a typo. Dr. Perricone prefers organic coconut oil, but claims this fat product contains important saturated fats that help strengthen cell walls. Coconut oil also works well with the thyroid to increase metabolism.

And there are more forever young foods to help you stay that way. Check out Dr. Perricone's new book, Forever Young: The Science of Nutrigenomics for Glowing, Wrinkle-Free Skin and Radiant Health at Every Age.

How To Lose Weight Quickly Like Black Eyed Peas' Fergie

Wow! Look at the body on Fergie. The 34-year-old singer of the Black Eyed Peas wore this curve-hugging electric blue Pucci dress at the recent 2010 Grammy Awards show.

And Fergie was workin' the mini. Why not? She has lost 17 lbs. since appearing in the movie musical Nine. In the hit flick, Fergie played a curvaceous prostitute, so she was asked to pack on the lbs. She looks incredible now, with those gorgeous legs and the addition of some auburn highlights to her dark hair.

So, you ask, how does one get a figure like Fergie?

Through hard work of exercise and diet. Yes, she actually watches what she eats, and that is the key to quick weight loss and the huge amount of energy she needs when performing as an artist.

And it wasn't one of those fad diets for lovely Fergie. We have learned through her nutritionist and trainer, Carrie Wiatt, that the star stuck to a 1,600 calorie-per-day diet. No Doritos on this plan. It's all healthy and delicious:

"She usually opts for hunger-blasting ingredients like protein-rich chicken, omega-3-rich pine nuts, fiber-filled grapefruit and healthy fats from avocado," says Carrie Wiatt.

And Fergie cuts back at night, no carbo-loading. "Fergie restricts her carb intake at night," Carrie Wiatt told "Life & Style" magazine. "That means avoiding carbs at dinner and doubling up on veggies -- and having three small snacks during the day to prevent overeating at mealtimes."

And when it comes to working out, Fergie is right there walking on an incline on the treadmill, concentrating on her butt. She does lots of exercises designed to keep her famous assets tight and toned.

You can learn more about Fergie's successful weightloss and exercise routine in the latest issue of Life & Style magazine.

Dr. Perricone's Cosmeceuticals Battle Inflammation

What does inflammation have to do with aging?

Everything, according to Dr. Nicholas V. Perricone. The Connecticut-based dermatologist claims his research shows that, "controlling inflammation can help delay and even reverse the signs of aging."

Dr. Perricone is no stranger to the world of skin care and cosmeceuticals. He has authored several books and has gotten attention for his unique approach to fighting wrinkles. It's a 3-tiered philosophy he strongly believes in:

Diet. Anti-inflammatory. Foods like avocado, fresh water fish, nuts, lean protein, and olive oil
Supplements. Omega 3. Alpha Lipoic Acid. Vitamin C Ester. Beauty on the inside.
Topicals. Skin treatments that are formulated with patented sciences.

"We no longer have to age the way our parents did." That's what Dr. Perricone says, and his 3-pronged approach to younger, healthier skin revolves around that theory.

Dr. Perricone has introduced new packaging to his skin care line. The boxes, jars and tubes are now flashier and prettier.
Celebrities like movie star Uma Thurman are gaga over Dr. Perricone's skin care treatments.
