To achieve BIG doe eyes, you need great black liquid liner, of course, an amazing mascara and oh yeah....a super effective mascara brush/wand.
Check out L'Oreal Paris' new Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Blackest Black Mascara ($8.99, at ULTA).
This cool mascara has been out on the market for about a month now. We adore it because of the well-loved Voluminous formula and this unique, double-wing brush/wand.
Why?
Because the brush s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s lashes outward. "The unique Cocoon Fibers create silky delicate lashes that look spectacular," according to the folks at L'Oreal Paris.
GMA anchor Amy Robach has mentioned often that L'Oreal Voluminous is her FAVE mascara. We hope she tries this NEW Voluminous Butterfly Intenza!
We LOVE trying new drugstore mascaras, because they are cheaper than the fancy, high-ends, plus do the job nicely.
Look what Amy says about the Voluminous formula that she takes everywhere, even on the plane:
..."But not just any mascara, this tube is hands down the best mascara I have ever used. It lasts and looks great all day in all weather and my eyelashes have never looked fuller.
I've tried the more expensive department store varieties, and they don't even come close."
Get out of your cocoon this 2015, ladies! Try new beauty products, and see if they make a difference.

Tea tree oil.
We've all heard about its great, medicinal properties, especially for hair + scalp.
And if we believe ALL the wonderful things tea tree oil can do, then buying a special, tea tree oil shampoo should be a no-brainer.
TEA TREE oil can:
1. Rid hair of impurities, dirt, heavy product build-up, etc.
2. Unclog pores in scalp to prevent dandruff.
3. Promote circulation to encourage healthy growth.
4. Moisturize hair + scalp.
5. Offer shine to hair.
Hair giant Paul Mitchell is boasting about his Tea Tree Special Shampoo. It's not cheap at $23 for almost 17 oz. at Walgreens.
But a little goes a long way, and you will enjoy this minty-smelling and invigorating shampoo. This stuff will give you a kick-start in the morning. And your hair will look and feel super-clean.
Of course, if you are really tring to save a buck, you could buy your own little bottle of tea tree oil and add a few drops in your shampoo yourself.
We found some tea tree oil at CVS for $8.49 a bottle.
We are going to try this method. Just DON'T tell Paul Mitchell.

Y- Facelift Is Quick + Effective For Youthful Contours In 2015
Lately, the entire cosmetic enhancement world appears to be ALL about the injections. With a few stings of a needle, lost volume can be restored, cheekbones curved + enlarged, wrinkles + folds smoothed away, etc.
That's why folks are talking about the Y-Lift facelift, a more sophisticated filler session.
We knew immediately what this beauty treatment was ALL about.
Consider the letter "Y.".Look at the shape of the letter itself---width at top, narrowness at bottom.
And that is EXACTLY how plastic surgeons define the perfect, youthful face:
The widest portion of the face should begin at the forehead and/or cheekbones heading down to the narrowest part of the face, which should ideally end with the chin.
And what the Y-Lift aims to do, is just that---give the patient more youthful facial contours WITHOUT the surgery + major down-time.
We guess this could be called the minimally invasive facelift of 2015.
So the procedure still consists of facial filler, but it's done in a more artfully + precise manner, if we are to believe all the beauty hype.
We learned more about it here at the Y-Lift.com website.
The Y LIFT® procedure is performed using a specialized titanium instrument which is inserted beneath the skin and then maneuvered throughout designated parts of the facial region to instantly lift and contour the muscles, fascia and fat underlying the skin. Once lifted, hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally present in the skin is used to hold the newly elevated position in place at which point the titanium tube is removed from the treatment site. The rejuvenated face is then “sculpted” to accent and highlight each individual’s beauty.
No one enjoys going UNDER the knife for ANY type of surgery, especially when it comes to plastic surgery.
At least the Y-Lift offers an alternative with nice-looking results WITHOUT the anesthesia, incisions + stitches.
The cost of a Y-Lift varies from location to location but generally runs between $3,000 and $7,000.
So...is this newest beauty procedure for 2015 worth the money spent?
We like to refer to RealSelf.com, where REAL plastic surgeons + dermatologists can give you the honest dope on all the latest treatments + procedures. Check them out here.

Another New Pore Shrinker For A Smoother, Softer Complexion
Yes, like many of you, we are PORE-obsessed.
We have an oily complexion and clear skin, but DNA has reminded us that we also have large pores around our nose, and such.
Retin-A, glycolic acid, Vitamin C, and other strong, excellent skin care treatments like these can make a major difference over time.
Plus there are a number of over-the-counter skin care products designed to MINIMIZE large pores. And here is a new one:
L'Oreal Paris Texture Perfector Pore Vanisher ($19.99, at Target).
This silky, creamy stuff will work very quickly. In seconds, the pore vanisher will smooth out large pores, leaving a more flawless face with a better base for foundation after.
So, how does L'Oreal's Pore Vanisher help BLUR big, bad pores?
Read the back of the box:
We say this new pore shrinker is worth the $20 beauty investment.
We are well aware that you are stuck with large pores forever, but there are advanced products that minimize their appearance + texture, and this appears to be one of them.

Jennifer Aniston Goes Braless Again At SAGS: We Can't Stop Staring!
We all know that actress Jennifer Aniston has a super fit body, but lately on the red carpet, the blonde stunner is burning her bra, so to speak.
Jennifer Aniston has gone braless, and yeah, we can't stop staring...
Is it vulgar?
Is it just right?
Or somewhere in between?
Here is the "Cake"-nominated star at the SAG Awards last night in Hollywood, sans bra in a lovely, vintage Galliano gown, along with decolletage-teasing body chain. She lost out to Julianne Moore for BEST actress in a leading role.
Some folks feel that Jen's breasts are sagging at the SAGS, so to speak. But then again, maybe we are all just used to seeing breast implants that stand alone + higher by way of plastic surgery.
At least Jennifer's bosom appears natural and how REAL breasts hang from a woman's body. LOL
Who knows? Jennifer's breasts could be the work of a skilled surgeon who has made them appear as natural as breasts can get.
Anyway....Jennifer has chosen to put her bosom out there for the world to see, so it is NOT unusual for us to be talking about THEM.
If you would like to buy a body chain, as the trend is HOT, you can tuck the rest of the chain inside your outfit, as Jennifer has done here on 2 red carpets in a row.
We found this sexy body chain from NastyGal ($28).

Kardashian Family Makeup Artist Joyce Bonelli's Tip For False Lashes
Platinum blonde Joyce Bonelli seems to be everywhere the Kardashians go. There she is in Paris with mama Kris Jenner this week.
If you don't know by now, Joyce Bonelli is the beloved makeup artist for the Kardashian family, and is usually spotted in the Kardashian entourage.
Joyce does a great job applying cosmetics to the K + J sisters. That's why we were happy to find a cool beauty tip for false lashes.
We found an old interview from 2011, where Joyce talks about the faux lashes she uses on Kim Kardashian by Ardell.
The company offers tons of inexpensive, beautiful lashes.
Joyce gave out this interesting + smart tip:
Ardell Lashes: “A trick to do– and it’s really important to do this– is at the inside corners of the eye, cut the lash off in the direction of your own lashes, at an angle, to taper off the lash. That’s where people go wrong with false lashes.”
Hey, nice-looking lashes for $4, you can't beat it.
ULTA sells them, as do many beauty shops + drugstores.
