Simple, Home Recipe For Brighter, Whiter Nails

If you're constantly fooling around with dark nail polishes, then you know how dull + yellowed nails can look when you remove the lacquer and see your bare nails for real.

What causes the nasty discoloration?

The pigments in the darker shades can result in deep staining on the nail plate.

So, how do we continue to enoy our vampier manis + pedis without having to worry about the polish dyes yellowing our nails?

You could try a base coat BEFORE you apply the colored polish. This clear coat not only helps color to adhere, but also SEALS + PROTECTS the nail plate from staining.

But we suggest this simple, home recipe for brighter, whiter nails, because it really works.

All you need:

1 Tbsp.lemon juice added to 3 Tbsp. olive oil in a small bowl.

Dunk nails into the lemon/oil mixture. Soak for 10 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water + dry. Apply moisturizing lotion to seal in all the good stuff.

The lemon acid will lift stains and brighten, while the olive oil provides wonderful hydration for healthier nails.

Khloe Kardashian Hits Gym To Maintain Big Fab Fanny

We don't know Khloe Kardashian, but her butt has become the BUZZ everywhere, because it appears to have gotten VERY big + round in the last year.

Even older sister Kim who is known for her extremely ample behind, wise-cracked about Khloe's fanny on Sunday's episode of "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons."

"Khloe's ass is so big, you guys. It's so big. She's gotta like lose a couple LBs. It's huge!" Kim told her sister Kourtney and Scott Disick.

Scott was stunned: "What? You guys are famous for big butts. You guys lose your butts we may all lose our money."

And Kim responded: "But hers is like out of control. I don't care, I want a flat ass now."

We don't believe a word Kim is saying. Maybe she doesn't like the booty competition.

Can't Wait For Kate: Red Carpet Style At First Ever People Mag Awards Show

Will you tune in to the first ever "People Magazine Awards Show" tonight at 9 PM on NBC?

We will surely take a peek.

Kate Hudson will be glamming up the red carpet, and as of late, this chick has been nailing EVERY event in perfect style.

We know she's good pals with designer Stella McCartney, so that means an elegant dress for sure.

And when it comes to makeup + hair, Kate looks gorgeous. The transformation in the last couple of years has been stunning.

We don't know what this sexy, mom-of-two has been doing to look this fab, but we salute her.

The first annual People Magazine Awards might not be as elite a gathering as the Academy Awards Show, but the 2-hour event is being held at the Beverly Hilton and will feature a bunch of A-listers. Not too shabby. We think this is a MUST-see.
