Want Sexy Kardashian Eyes? Don't Forget About Your Bottom Lashes

Nothing spells sexy like lashes laced with mascara.

And if you're trying to create a super sexy eye like Kim Kardashian's signature look, then here's an important beauty tip to remember: Don't forget about your bottom lashes.

Take a look at this photo of the sultry reality television star, and notice her bottom lashes. They seem to go on forever.

We've read that Kim often wears false lashes for red carpet events and has a professional makeup artist carefully applying the faux lashes. If you desire those amazing Kardashian eyes but DON'T want to put on the fakes, you can still achieve her look, with lots of black mascara.

And there are so many mascaras out there. Of course, the big Hollywood cult-fave is Dior's Diorshow in black.

Dior has just taken their great mascara one step further by introducing their own new battery-operated rotating brush in Diorshow 360 Mascara ($36, at dior.com). This new formula and beauty gadget creates more curl, length, and volume for lashes.

Kim K., herself, has often given mascara tutorials at her website:
..."Putting on mascara completes the look. I recently started to use M.A.C. Zoom mascara -- which is amazing! I take my time and put coat after coat. I love to layer mascaras so I will probably start with the M.A.C. Zoom and then put Lancome Hypnose on top.I always use a separater brush to separate my lashes. I am completely clueless on how to put false lashes on, so I only wear them for photo shoots sometimes."

By the way, curling lashes BEFORE applying mascara, is key for sexy eye fringe. Just doing that one small step, opens up the eyes dramatically.

Kevin Aucoin's makeup experts gave this special beauty secret for curling the bottom eyelashes:

"Turn (curler) upside down and curl bottom lashes downward. Trick of old movie stars from the 30's and 40's."

Okay, we have not quite mastered that final step. It's harder than it sounds. Perform at your own risk, ha ha.

Revlon Beauty Tip From Britain's Dame Helen Mirren

Many fans call movie actress Helen Mirren an ageless beauty. And at 65-years-young, we can see why.

So, we then ask you, dear readers, is it possible to learn any valuable beauty tips from a sexy senior citizen?!

We say, of course!

Helen Mirren has been admired for a long time, and not just for her acting pedigree. The British beauty has been applauded for aging gracefully in a cruel cinematic world, where mainly youth seems to define a woman's acting ability. You hit age 50, and suddenly, the great roles disappear.

But not for Helen Mirren. Last night, the Academy award winner graced the red carpet with her Brit co-star Russell Brand for their NYC movie premier, 'Arthur.'

Helen Mirren always appears to strike the right note with elegance and polished makeup.

And her beauty tip: "I just discovered....Revlon Just Bitten lip stain. It looks fabulous, especially if you get a natural color, and it lasts forever.".

Nice tip, Helen. And for $8.99, you get kiss-proof color that stays on for hours!

Coconut water has been a super hot healthy trend these days, and the thirst for body-good products continues. Just google 'coconut water,', and you will find page after page of companies selling it, as well as lots of information on its alleged numerous benefits.

Lots of celebrities have hopped on the coconut water bandwagon, including actress Rachel Bilson. She recently told InStyle magazine that she enjoys only this particular coconut H2O:

Body Ecology Organic Raw coconut water sells for $11/32 0z. at bodyecology.com.

So, you ask----What's so great about coconut water, in general? It's isn't cheap, so folks expect it better be a superior beverage.

We've learned that coconut water is supposed to be one of the best known fluids for re-hydrating the body. And according to naturalhealthlifestyles.com, it doesn't come from the coconuts we're used to enjoying:

"Coconut water is the liquid found inside young green coconuts. Not to be confused with coconuts you see in the grocery store i.e.—the brown, hairy kind."

Aha! We didn't know that. In addition, the article goes on to mention some really wonderful things about this most pure water:

"The water of a single coconut contains enough vitamin C to meet the daily requirements of the body. It also contains several vitamins in the B group, such as niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, riboflavin, folic acid, and thiamin."

Why You Need +Repelle Salon Shield For At-Home Hair Color

If you've ever done at-home hair color, then you know what those ugly stains look like following the dyeing process.

Especially if you're just touching up roots by the ears and temple. And then you miss, and you've got a dark stain on your neck, even eyebrows, etc.

A friend told us about a great and gentle product called +Repelle. And what it does in its lip balm-type applicator is, "create an invisible barrier to protect skin from hair chemical stains, plus it contains Pretectin-22™ to ionically-repel many hair chemicals."

And +Repelle performs this color stain shield beautifully and keeps skin clean and soft. In addition---it's perfect for all hair and skin types, and according to the company, it's easy to use:

"Before applying hair chemicals, apply +Repelle™ as needed to skin along the hairline, neck, ears, sideburns, or eyebrows. Avoid getting product on hair. After hair treatment, wipe off dye excess and +Repelle as needed, leaving skin clean and moisturized."

We found some at Rite-Aid, and you can also pick it up at the Rite-Aid website, for $5.99.

Let's be honest, if you do any kind of at-home hair color or root touch-up, it can usually spell a messy affair. Application can be tricky, and even the pros slip up once in a while. If you hate the nasty color splotches left behind, +Repelle does a super job of keeping you clean and hair color stain-free. So it's worth a tube.

How To Get In Shape With Bare Feet And Beamfit

What if we told you, that all you need are your bare feet and a beam to get you in total shape. Would you believe us?

We dare you to : Balance. Engage. Align. And Move.

It's an amazing fitness product and program created by David Mesirow, an exercise expert. And it's called, Beamfit. And television's Martha Stewart and her crew are big beaming fans.
The beam measures 5 ft. in length and 6 in. in width. And the beam is lightweight and made of a nice, 'cushy' foam. Plus, you can tote it anywhere.

It's all about barefoot training, but as Beamfit president David Mesirow says, "This is not just a step on a beam."

And we believe, David, because we've been trying out Beamfit. And the unassuming piece of fitness equipment is so much more. You learn to listen to the inner you, and you learn to respect your core, while engaging in the fusion of Yoga and Pilates philosophies. You then find out, that simply putting one foot in front of the other, is more than just a matter of movement, David explains.

"The fact that no one has worked on a Beam before ( in the way we do at Beamfit) levels the playing field. Young, old, Fit, Fat , athlete or amature, EVERYONE has the same 1st experience because people have not worked on balance training in this way before. I have had skiers, tri-athletes, marathon runners, body builders , football and baseball players on the Beam as well as kids and 80 year olds. ALL experience the same thing YOU DID in the same way. The beauty is that EVERYONE is "learning" about their own strengths and weaknesses as well as imbalances at the same time in a class, yet it is a uniquely personal experience for each individual - thus the BEAM becomes a self awareness tool as well as a personal traininer who is constantly correcting your every move."

So, let's say we have about 20 lbs to lose. How does Beamfit help us reach our goal along with a diet?

1. YES you can burn calories while BEAMING so there is weight loss benefit. 2. More importantly, Beaming will teach a person how to better balance the weight of their body across the skeletal structure to reduce the propensity of pain (low back, hip, knee, ank etc.) When the weight is evenly distributed, there is minimal pressure on one joint or vertebra thus reducing "problems." 3.Another advantage to the woman who is over- weight and attempting to reduce, is the fact that when she improves her balance and posture, she will improve her "presence" - standing TALLER and with more confidence - this is also slimming!!! Stand TALL, engage your core, and walk with confidence = she is appearing SLIMMER and is "SLAMMIN"!! Add better fitting clothes, hair and mak- up and she looks BETTER as she is losing the weight......and if she only loses 12 of the 20 - it will appear as if she lost more.

Beamfit really makes sense, and David Mesirow is so right, in that this uncomplicated-looking piece of fitness equipment forces you to get in touch with your inner perspective. You are more aware of how you take each step. It's all about mind and body
.
And we love being in our bare feet. It feels so natural to work-out this way. You can Beamfit alone, in the privacy of your home, or you can take classes that use the Beamfit philosophy. You can add weights and aerobics, and so much more.

And yes, you'll even walker a lot taller and with more confidence. Beamfit is a solid piece of fitness equipment.

David has an excellent Beamfit website. Check it out here.

Ladies....have you ever had an expensive tube of anti-aging cream, where you needed every last drop, and were trying to squeeze the heck out of what little was left? And you were dealing with a tough, metal tube?

We run into that problem every time we get low on our must-have, precious Retin-A cream. We bend it it this way and that, desperately attempting to release any tiny speck of the serum before tossing the tube into the waste basket.

But now, there is another way.......Dr. Hauschka skin care has come up with today's 'Beauty Penny Pincher,'-----the Tube Wringer. And it ain't just for that costly whitening toothpaste you don't want to part with.

The new Dr. Hauschka Tube Wringer ($15.95, here) is a clever and valuable little beauty gadget. It saves money by conserving product. It's useful for any tube packaging, from anti-aging creams to toothpaste. And it is simple to use:

Fold out sealed end of tube to start initial grip of rollers. To move all the cream to the end of the tube, fasten the wringer to the sealed end and with the cap sealed turn the nod on the wringer till the cream reachs the end. To fully empty the tube, remove the cap and turn the wringer nob till all the cream is out.

VS Could Clip Angel Wings Of Too Skinny Model Candice Swanepoel

Candice Swanepoel is a gorgeous Victoria Secret's model. But just three days ago, the world started buzzing about how too skinny she looked while in Los Angeles Wednesday to promote VS's new line of swimwear.

And the rumors are swirling around today, that this beautiful Victoria Secret's angel could have her wings clipped, so to speak. In other words, Candice could be out of the VS lineup until she gains some weight back.

So, is the stunning 22-year-old model from South Africa way too-oooo skinny?! Look at the photos causing the stir from cocoperez.com.

She, herself, has admitted that she has had a tough time keeping the lbs. on because of her hectic on-the-go schedule. She said this during Fashion Week last November: "Actually, this year my problem has been more putting the weight on and getting muscle on because it’s been really busy," Candice said. "I’ve been traveling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I’m very busy."

Candice Swanepoel is said to be 5' 9 1/2". That's a tall gal, and that's what models look like---very long and lean. And VS models are healthy, but not that curvy. It only appears that way in the VS catalogues. A little 'magic' is used to form the curvier silhouette.

Look what popular VS model Rosie said about creating major cleavage during a photo shoot:

"I do believe in chicken fillets," Rosie Huntington-Whiteley says. "I’m not saying you have to use them, but if anyone knows me and sees me in a photoshoot, well, there are friends in there. I’m not a fan of that whole push-up look in the day. But, of course, you do need a lift with a sexy dress, so do what you’ve got to do, girls — shove them in there. I’ve been known to have three in at a time for shoots — plus padding."
What do you think, readers? Are these VS models much too skinny?!
