These are quite pigmented lip colors, but the sponge-y tip does a neat job of  smoothing + softening the intensity.

Okay, we have a TOUGH time keeping our hair dye permanent.

TOO many grays, we are guessing! It's been a problem since our 30s. So-oooo annoying (Sigh).

So, we are ALWAYS on the hunt for a decent gentle shampoo that promises to keep the COLOR in the hair shaft longer.

Hmmm....Well, we will take the best we can find, but for us....the hair color disappears.....

Let's face it. Dyeing hair is DAMAGING, especially if it involves permanent color and/or the bleach blond-ing process, the ultimate in hair suicide.

BUT....we have just found a really CHEAP drugstore/grocery store shampoo for $2 bucks that feels GOOD.

Suave Color Protection Shampoo is a creamy white, thick formula that works up a great lather, smells lovely + rinses out well.

Only thing, we did NOT use the conditioner. And just the shampoo alone made our locks tangled up.

But other than that, this shampoo leaves tresses SHINY with VOLUME, and our hair did NOT appear to lose any color after 2 uses, so far.

We would NOT expect to get 40 shampoos with ZERO hair color loss, but, our hair does feel thick + smooth + healthy.

So, probably NOT the BEST color-treated shampoo out there, but certainly, NOT the worst.

And yes, I would buy this Suave product, again.

BTW.....That flawless head of hair in the photo, is NOT ours. Wish it were.

That's the name of NARS' newest mascara in their glamorous line-up.

We LOVE mascara, so bring it on!

But it isn't cheap, and it's SOLD OUT in several places.

Let's look at the unique wand. First it's pretty in pink, but the cool thing is how this wand or brush is put together.

According to NARS, the wand is full of bristles---more than  200 molded bristles and lengthening hooks.

Copying Celeb Style With Cheaper Dupe: Is It Worth The Chance?

Oh, yes....the duplicate, and when it comes to FAB style, well, some of us are looking for the cheaper alternative.

Why?

Well, maybe we aren't in the market for a glamorous $300 pair of celebrity sunglasses, like the fashion queen herself, Kim Kardashian West.

So, if we can hunt down a more inexpensive version that LOOKS  pretty similar, then we've scored a great buy!

Brows.

Hmmmm. We could talk about them all day.

Our own used to be so anemic-looking, but these days, our brows are growing in. Only thing, you need PATIENCE...and then some.

We read somewhere, that brows can take up to 64 (give or take) days to come back fully grown in. Eyelashes are quicker, taking only 4-6 weeks to come and go.

Our brows are taking a lot l-o-n-g-e-r than 64 days, but.....they ARE growing in. Get OVER age 40, and brows are even slower to re-appear. Ugh. So frustrating.

In the meantime....we can improve our brows through powders, gels, liquid tints and so forth.

DWTS' Julianne Hough Opts For Smoky Eye + Nude Lip For Gorgeous Emmys Red Carpet

Okay...it might seem boring to some.....Been there--Done that, etc.

BUT----It's a classic makeup combo that looks elegant when done properly.

And DWTS' Julianne Hough wowed on the red carpet tonight at the Emmy Awards out in very steamy L.A..

Nothing over-done.

Julianne wore her hair in a messy bun held in place with what appears to be a thin black triple headband.

Her pretty blue eyes just pop in a smoky palette + very black mascara.
Julianne's nude lip has a pink-y sheen added, which is perfect with the star's fair complexion.
